Who’s part of building consensus?

I’d like to lead a discussion about leadership models. The Recyclery Collective has operated as a consensus based collective for 20 years, and while I love it, it’s not without challenges. I’d like to share about some twists and turns we’ve navigated, and our current status. Also, I’d like to revisit conversations that have come up at previous Bike! Bikes! about how paid staff relate to volunteer leaders (Collective members, board members, etc). I’m curious to learn: How does our model compare with other (your) orgs? More typical non profits? How does our model impact our capacity to collaborate with other institutions large and small?
