Les nouvelles dates pour Bike! Vélo Partout! 2021 sont vendredi 12 novembre - dimanche 14 novembre.
Bike!Bike! est un rassemblement international pour partager des expériences et des idées sur les projets de vélo communautaire de collectifs qui utilisent le vélo comme excuse pour éduquer - pour changer la société, l'économie et l'environnement.
Le Bike!Bike! clasique est normalement hébergé par une ville différente chaque année, sur une période de 4 jours. Il y a aussi des événements régionaux comme Bike!Bike! Nord-est ou Bike!Bike! Sud-ouest.
Bike!Bike! Partout! 2021 est en ligne, vous n'avez donc pas à parcourir des milliers de kilomètres pour vous y rendre. Aussi pour ne pas propager de germes.
Vous n'avez pas besoin d'être un expert ou d'appartenir à un grand groupe, vous devez juste être prêt à partager ce que vous savez sur l'organisation, la gestion de pandémie, la mécanique, l'impact social, la diversité, l'équité, l'inclusion, un meilleur accès aux vélos ou aux connaissances et les problèmes sociaux dans votre communauté ou ville.

Why is the registration process asking me about housing and food? I thought this was a virtual conference!
Yep. It's a virtual conference, but the website was designed for in-person events. Some of those questions are baked into the design, and we can't change them. Answer however you like - we'll disregard them. We cannot feed or house you on the internet. (-:
Why are you using Zoom/Discord?
We chose to prioritize Bike!Bike!'s tradition of Language Justice. We would love to use platforms that are open source and end-to-end encrypted, but we aren't aware of any open source software or end-to-end encrypted platforms with simultaneous interpretation features in the same league as Zoom. Discord has good machine translation features and a much friendlier user interface than any of the alternatives we have found. If you think there's another platform that would be a better fit, please email darin@darinwick.com - we'd love to hear about it for next year!
Who is organizing this?
Volunteers & compañerxs (companions)! Most of us are or have been involved in bike collectives/other community bike organizations/cross-language projects. Bike Farm in Portland, OR is handling the finances.
How do I donate money?
You can donate to help fund Bike!Bike! Everywhere! when you register.
Why donate money?
We would love to pay translators and interpreters this year - translation and simultaneous interpretation are a lot of work and require some serious skill. If there are funds left over, they will be set aside for future Bike!Bike! events.
